What to expect on the day

Attend the fair and speak with representatives from various organisations to:

• find out about what opportunities are available
• discover what organisations you might like to apply for
• find out about the recruitment processes and information that might enhance your application(s)

The fair will be noisy and busy with students competing to speak with the representatives, so your preparation will be important in making you stand out from the crowd.

Employers will expect you to:

• prepare questions to demonstrate your research and interest in their company
• be well presented - neat casual will make a good first impression.
• introduce yourself professionally (perhaps with brief details about your studies and career goals) and
• be confident and maintain eye contact
