UBS 2008 Investment Banking Challenge

Do you have what it takes to work on a real M&A transaction?

The UBS Investment Banking Challenge offers students an opportunity to gain invaluable, hands-on experience of working as an analyst in an investment bank.

In teams of 2-5, you will be asked to prepare a presentation and respond to questions typical of those posed to junior analysts, on a case-study developed by investment bankers at UBS. The winning teams from each campus will compete in the national final in Sydney.

As well as presenting, finalists will be invited to spend an afternoon with UBS to learn more about careers in investment banking (and also to ask for advice ahead of the competition!). All national finalists will also be invited to interview for a summer internship at UBS.

National finalists will receive cash prizes, including for the national winners $5,000 (1st place), $2,500 (2nd place) and $1,500 (3rd place). There will also be prizes for the best first year entrant from each campus, as well as all teams in the campus finals.

To take part, you will need to form a team (of 2-5 students) and apply via the UBS Investment Banking Challenge website.
