2008 National Careers & Employment Expo

The National Careers & Employment Expo brings careers, employment and training opportunities together by connecting organisations with thousands of career-minded individuals. Through the support of government, leading organisations and major media groups, it has become one of the largest careers and employment events in Australia.

The Expo provides potential candidates with an opportunity to interact directly with employers and education and training providers. Operating in regional and metropolitan areas across Australia, the event also focuses on the broader aspects of living, learning and working in Australia.

The 2008 Melbourne Expo, being held 16 and 17 May, will include opportunities for university graduates and will be attended by around 150 organisations.

Representatives from a number of exhibiting organisations may be particularly interested in meeting Monash University students and graduates, including:

  • The Government of South Australia: to promote its Move to Adelaide campaign, including the opportunity to interact with South Australian employers with job vacancies in primary industries, mining, government, defence and recruitment.
  • Goulburn-Murray Water: this is a good chance for students who’ve applied for the graduate program, or any individuals seeking water industry employment, to speak directly with company representatives.

Admission to this event is free and open to the general public. Registration is not required.
