LINKS 2008 – Singapore Careers Symposium

LINKS is an annual careers symposium and networking event for students and graduates from Australian and New Zealand Universities to learn more about key industry developments, the employment landscape and career opportunities in Singapore.

LINKS 2008 will focus on forging greater links between young talent and industry in Singapore and will present information about three of the country’s hottest sectors:

• financial services
• healthcare and biomedical research
• technology

Representatives from 15-20 highly respected Singapore-based companies are expected to attend to share their knowledge on latest industry trends, along with insights gleaned from their years of experience. Representatives from organisations such as Bloomberg, Schering-Plough, National Health Group and so on, look forward to meeting students from all disciplines and nationalities at the event.

To be held in Singapore on Friday 11 January 2008, this half-day event commences with a structured information component comprising keynote address and industry-specific panel sessions. A networking component follows over a free and informal lunch, providing up-close opportunities for both potential employers and employees to find out more about each other.

Admission is free, but places are limited. Individuals planning to attend must pre-register.
