Gippsland Careers Expo 2009
Following our successful event in 2008, where 30 employers and several hundred students were in attendance, we are again hosting our annual Gippsland Careers Expo in 2009.
Tuesday 28 July, 12.00pm - 2.00pm
Student Union Lounge (Building 3N), Gippsland campus
Showcase your career and employment opportunities, raise your organisation's profile amongst the Monash community and to interact directly with our students. Participation is free, but places are limited.
Objectives of the event
- Enable employers to inform students of career prospects in their industry or company
- Provide employers with the opportunity to interact with students from a range of learning disciplines
- Allow students to gain knowledge to assist in making informed course choices and subject selection
- Directly inform students of criteria and standards set by the current workforce
- Create greater student awareness of employment opportunities within and beyond the Gippsland region
- Provide employers the opportunity to promote graduate programs, vacation work, and work experience or career positions available within their organisation
